Vineyard and Orchard
Located on the Smoky Hills of Central Kansas, Coyote Oaks Vineyard is a natural place for growth and transformation. The 5-acre vineyard includes Chambourcin, Chardonel, Cynthiania, Aphrodite, Crimson Cabernet, and Cabernet Doré wine grapes. Our 2-acre orchard includes several varieties of apples, pears, and stone fruits with a developing planting of Gogi berries. We are growing. In 2010, we harvested our first crop of Chambourcin. 2012 brought a record Apple crop and our first botteling of Apple Wine. Total crop production, including the remaining varieties, will be available in the next three years. In the following years we will add a small winery and tasting room so you can come and enjoy our work. All are grown with love using organic and Biodynamic methods.
The Grounds
Coyote Oaks is a primitive gathering ground ideal for outdoor events where nature is an invited guest. Situated on an 80 acre hillside, its roots run deep like the native grass that surrounds it. The idea is old, the oaks are new, and the coyotes have always been here.
Vineyards have long been a place for contemplation and spiritual retreat; a place where Heaven and Earth come into balance. We wouldn't have it any other way. Our mission is more than to please the palate. We also want to feed the mind, and spirit. From time to time, we offer workshops and seminars to provoke thought on psycho-spiritual subjects, and nurture personal growth.
Events
Nestled between two ponds in the heart of the vineyard and orchard, the grounds are suitable for group picnics, weddings, workshops and seminars, and our hilltop has some of the best sunsets you'll see in your life. We invite you to visit our creative work in progress and engage the spirit of the plains!.

"In addition to being a vintner, I am a Transpersonal Psychotherapist and since childhood these hills have been a healing place for me. They have given me the strength to dream. The expansive horizons have granted me room to stretch my imagination, and beckoned me to explore. The subtle beauty of the environment trained me to notice nuance and to seek the magical in nature's display. I invite you to share this unique place of growth and peace. May Coyoté Oaks be a place you come for respite and refreshment in a busy life."
